One of my hona chicks is acting lame. It has one leg tucked up under it. I've put it in a cat crate on top of the brooder so it can still have heat. I check them several times a day, so it hadn't been more than 24 hours if that long. Hoping it's just an injury somehow.

Is it just for hatchlings? These are a month old.

Goodness me they feel so sore today No infection that I can see but they are very weepy/bleeding. Got the dressings off right now to get some air to them and that is making it feel worse. So I'm going to have an early bath and get some clean ones back on.
