if it can be caught or passed by wild birds i am wondering if all fowl can get it. chukars, ect... i do have a tired looking bird in the guinea fowl coop a rir hen but she wasnt laying when i got her. pet only. so i am thinking she may be getting ready to pass from age. no visible problems.

i played in the rain yesterday. it was not a shower but boy did it feel good. they(sears) offered me a 40 dollar compensation check. i asked for a damage claims adjuster to come. LOL let them take care of the mold i see from it leaking. they did the first install. they should of put a shut off on it.chickens doing ok so nothing really to fuss about except the price of feed. they are eating better then i am. lol and they get more showers too! poor things coop stinks. pdz not getting it. well, guess i did have something to complain about .

i got the water heater yesterday, been in it ever since. 13 roos gone as the queen says ,"off with their heads" probably have 20 more but wasnt sure so i wait. that smarts but not fair to them or me . not enough hen to go around and they are practicing playing house. my hens wont stop laying or sitting . then one of them wants to snack. havent found out who yet but she will join her bros in the everafter when i do. i dont eat all them eggs i feed them to the other animals but it sickens me. probably chunking 2 dozen a day. i am slowly weeding them out until i have my best flock someone can have for mg birds then when they stop for me i wont add. i will wait , disinfect and restart . i should know my favorites by then. lol a lot of loss but nothing else i can think of. no illness at this time but quite tired of asking people for help. i am not a waiting type of girl, been too much of that already. you guys are the only people i know that can understand and offer help without adding complaints on top. thank you for that. i love my babies but i am going to start taking some down time for a while. hopefully make it a bit easier on myself if only for a min. i wont get over run again/still am but working on it. think fire works will scare the crap out of the chickens like some dogs???

HURRY !!!! somebody stop me ! i am about to do it again... been looking at this little white dog for a week now and nobody is taking her home. she is not fixed, no shots and possibly pregnant by her own brother. not completely house broke.. a spay and rabies is 80 dollars,(cheapest i could find) and i am getting ready to go get her. i need help. i cant be doing nothing, i need stress in my life. its how i function. LOL wonder if they spay pregnant, thats bad but maybe not as bad as a whole litter of inbreed pups. you cant hide you know, they dont go away. went to shelter yesterday and not a treat to be seen anywhere. that is sad. think of your shelters when you have that dollar in front of the pop machine and say to yourself. instead of drinking this that is no good for me, i can buy a small bag of treats and feed many. now, someone come give me a flat tire right quick .

IF you do go ahead and end up with her contact the ADOPT program at the women's prison in town - they transport to PETS ALIVE in Bloomington regularly for the low-cost spay/neuter clinic - though if you were to choose an abortive spay if she is pregnant the cost is higher due to the increased risk associated with the procedure (not sure about this clinic, but another I have used charged $10 more) -- unless that is the quote you already have.
