Hello all: Sorry about being MIA !!! things have been a zoo around here, My nephew is up for the summer and working for me mainly out at the farm. We got 21 railroad ties dug and planted for the new fence. So one ran into my parked truck and did over 9500.00 worth of damage so dealing with adjusters they haven't officially totaled the truck out yet but I couldn't be with out a working truck so got a new one (2011) for me. Still trying to get a room up and running the installer screwed up the bathroom floor so have to get it redone, Room is rented/booked starting Thursday. I forget what all else has been going on but not enough time/hours to get everything done and still try to keep up with byc also. Glad things are better there for you granny. Off to the ins agent to add the new truck to ins. take care all .

please tell me how a railroad tie runs into a truck? were you hurt? my van is a 2000 and about done. its a long walk to the store. lol it has served me well. over 600 trees alone then the bushes flowers. i have learned how to fit 7 trees from lowes into a mini van. its not as easy as it sounds. and that is a lot of trips to town. another guinea hatched today and one piped. i think that is 7 now. this is the longest hatch i have ever seen. not many to go now. 3 i think. too tired to go look.went to dr. said i have Achilles tendinitis.stay off my feet for a couple weeks. hahahahaaa ya, thats gonna happen. have to take steroids so maybe i will get some giddy up in my go. of course he told me the same thing a few weeks ago. question, what do you think of when you hear the words warm fuzzies? i feel soft and warm. clouds floating by on a gentle breeze.safe and content. funny how just 2 little words can do all that.

Sorry it was a typo some one totaled my truck while it was parked on the side street, Railroad ties had nothing to do with it. Warm fuzzies the feeling you got when little and your mother wrapped you in a warmed towel as you got out of the tub.

2 words, meanings so different to every one but always the same. what gives, or gave us comfort. beautiful words. they allow us to use our imagination to feel good if only for a few brief moments. why cant we have warm fuzzies 24/7 ? i think we can if we try hard enough. and on that note, i found a basset today at an all you can eat chicken buffet. not his fault, nature of the beast. she was beautiful. i am happy to say i found the owner. too bad. i really miss moms dogs. they went to a rescue and are in their new homes now. my water heater has been busted for 3-4 days now and i am getting ripe. the floor is flooded, mold will be next . cant turn water off. its at the street .all my towels are in the dryer a few times now. i guess saturday i will learn how to be a plumber. if i can take it apart, i can put it back together right? moms room is to my liking now. fresh paint and all. i am going to try to sleep in there tonight .dont know if i can or not.baby hatched and it wont shut up. never seen one so loud. gave it water and it fought me in the brooder. it is strong. this batch must be super chicks,, crowing yelling, fighting me. i am sure i will get up in the middle of the night and slip on the water. lol warm fuzzies, warm fuzzies, to all

chick hatched this morn and last one is piped. the one that hatched today i know is part silkie but i would swear it has guinea in it. it just looks so much like them except the skin color is yellowish. my guineas could not get to my hens. there are penned. someone told me i could go to state park and shower but i would have to wear a bathing suit. i dont own one. and i wouldnt want to go in public wearing it if i did. a friend offered but she is about an hr drive from here. wish i had a big ol galvanized tub. i can heat water on the stove. i have a garden tub but its what mom used to bath her dogs in and i bet its about as clean as me. guy just left from capping water off the to heater so no more leaking. and he also showed me how to stop the sink up so i can boil water and wash dishes. you know the rubber piece on the end of the stopper? i had it on upside down.

maybe afret the dishes are done i can sweet talk someone into helping me wash my hair. ya, in the sink. at this point i dont care.

I would just go jump in the creek and scrub up ware shorts and a T-shirt if you want. Did the dog kill some of your chickens?

no, i thought it had, my favorite of course, but the smartest too. lol she was hiding in the barn. all the rest were going nuts, guineas flew way up in the trees. when i was a teen, a couple yrs. ago, we lived with a well only. hauled water in a bucket to the house and i would go bath in the creek sometimes. of course where i lived i didnt need clothes but now, i dont know where i would find one without trespassing and possibly giving someone a heart attack or shooting me but it does sound nice ! there is a naked place around here somewhere. amish man was hired to go do some work there. said he never seen so many butts in his life. hahahaa was thinking of the state park if they would let me with shorts. idk, motel rent for an hour? er ? tell them i have a rash or something then sneak to the showers? 3 more days till i am supposed to have my water.

i have never felt more disgusting. last chick is outside and bator is down for the count. i enjoyed it because i figure it will be a long time before i see it again. still no deneguard. i am at the mercy of others and they dont care too much i guess. tell me again how its gonna get better.
