How long a ride ? why didnt they wrap them ?

The farm was ten minutes away, I didn't bring anything to wrap them in. She had them in an egg carton and my BIL got lost and we were on the bumpy roads for over an hour. I have them settling down right now and I will set them at 4 pm tomorrow. I don't want to blow this chance.
