I FOUND THE MISSING PAPERS! :weee

In the tax folder, right where they should've been. :barnie I couldn't see them until I dug the folder out and opened it, because they were slid down in the bottom.

Good news is I've cleaned out 10-12 years of old files for DH to burn later. I'll keep working on it, but SO GLAD the pressure is off.

It's more important to get them hydrated and starting recovery before any food is given. Food takes water and energy to process metabolically. Get them fully hydrated first, with electrolytes, maybe a few vitamins, to give their organs a chance to recover before adding more stress.

Agreed. The good news is that she caught it.

There is food and water in the coop. I can't control what the rangers are doing, but they were in better shape. I'll go check when I bring the electrolytes over.

More important for the two that you pictured. Blue comb shows her body was starting to shut down. She may need isolation if not active enough to get water. If the others are more active, they will regulate themselves. Sounds like you caught it in time!

I lost her. :hit She was sitting just like that when I opened the door, and I added two packets to the waterer. When I moved her she closed her eyes and fell over. I gently dipped her beak but she wouldn't drink so I carried her home. I was halfway to the syringe when she died in my arms.

I know yesterday I said I don't get emotional, but today I'm upset. This was all my fault. Short of testing the nipples every day, I don't know what I could've done differently. The blue hen is still standing and drinking the electrolytes, so :fl for her now.
