It's colder, but more rain on the horizon, so good for us. Everyone is functional, but hubs and I are fighting off some little bug.

Twist, our energy bill almost doubled from last year. They raised the rates.

Emergen-C immune is good, and I get generic ColdEeze zinc lozenges too. Read the directions for those, can't have citrus when you take it. Hubs and I both have mild sore throats and tight feeling chest, so we are taking both now.

I was wondering if being sick can affect you vision as well, or how the "sick" brain processes what your eyes are seeing ???

and if we think they are bad now wait until all the new regulations are imposed by the gov (epa I think) come into play. I would go with wind at the farm that it would cost a small fortune up front to build and convert everything out there.

The power company has spent the last 5 years or so "upgrading" everyone to a "Smart Meter" which not only keeps track of how much you use, but when you use it. Supposed to be to "help" customers "manage" their energy use. Ha! It was to set us up for tiered rates and rate increases. Why else would they have spent all that money?

yepp and the paying of meter rentals just sends me over the edge.

I would think that is the cost of their doing business. Otherwise I should be charging for sheets/towels/ and everything else in the rooms. Tell people that they are just renting the room, as in 4 walls, floor and ceiling
