I candled it today. cant see crap all black except for air cell and that looks small I thought I seen some slight movement but not sure. no pips.
And the chicks are gone except for the new baby.

Who ever was going to buy Cuckoo Marans for dark eggs, unless you get them from a dedicated breeder that has really worked on egg color, they will not lay dark eggs. I had some hens thst were two generations away from hatchery chicks. They laid eggs that were not a bit darker than my BR and RIR hens.

I can recieve phone calls but I cant make any. been like this for a few days. I guess I will need to drive to the phone co. tomorrow to report it. Shoot, thats almost to Lauranceburg where I have made 2 trips already and their chicks wasnt in yet. Stupid phone

It's all good. I don't like discussing politics. I just sit back and listen. I think our experiences shape our beliefs so I stay out of it.

I am so upset. I had to have Lilac, my 11 month old siamese kitten to sleep. She had FIP. No cure and the vet said no amount of money would have saved her. I owe $600. The house is so quiet and I don't have to hide pencils now. I miss my kitty!

I am SO sorry -- I, too, lost a kitty to FIP -- my sweet Darwin (polydactyl kitten from a litter of fosters we wound up with - he had six toes on all four paws and was my FAVORITE kitty) -- we were able to nurse him along for about two months after the official diagnosis, but the time came when I had to make that decision. It is a horrible, horrible disease and I am just so sorry you had to lose your Lilac to it.
