I feel that I must share now. hahaa Its potato-ham-broccoli soup depends on who you ask.

A heaping tablespoon of bacon grease , package of cubed ham, bag of frozen broccoli florets, 2 cans chicken broth, can of evaporated milk, 3-4 slices of cheese, salt, pepper, parsley, whatever else suits you.

fry the taters for a min. in the grease, add chicken stock, cook til potatoes are all most done , add everything except milk and cheese, when its tender add the cheese and turn it off then add the milk. helps cool it down .

For a while my adult son based his diet on eggs. He scrambled or made omelets with stuff in them. I came out one morning & he had added cheese & onion. I about gagged when he tossed in a handful of cheerios. He finished cooking it & dumped soy sauce on it before he ate it. Gross.

Teen boys will normally eat anything. With my sons texture problems there is not much he will eat. mixed things are a no no.

It sounded pretty good till you added the broccoli. I love it raw or cooked or with cheese or ham. Not in soup. I probably eat stuff that is weird to you. Lol

there is and always has been 2 veggies he will eat. broccoli and Lesures early peas. I got him to eat a carrot once by telling him they were good for the eyes. I tried again and he said, "but mom, I already ate one !".
