I am so sorry you are hurting Granny. Try icing it for 20 mins a few times a day. Will help reduce the swelling so it can heal. I have had a lot of problems with my knees and back over my years. Ice really helped me. Get a gallon sized zip lock and put some ice in it. Put a thin towel over your knee and lay the ice bag on it. Lay there for about 15 to 20 mins with the bag right on the knee. Really chill the area out, but don't freeze it. Do this a couple times a day. In a few days, you should notice some healing.
