Frosty is home. she looks rough too. so skinny. she now is officially a punk. tattoo , shaved and stoned. LOL i took a nap in the recliner and when i woke up she was snuggled in with me. i am not going to stop her from jumping. not sure what to do. if i crate her she is going to cry all night, if i put her in the bed she is going to jump down sooner or later. if i step out for 3 min. she howls and acts like she hasnt seen me in a month. jumping on me. i ignore her to try and stop the behavior but not sure what else to do. i wonder if pain meds. are a good idea because if she knew she was hurt she probably would take it easier. i was told she may be a cairn terrier/ schnauzer mix. i dont see it. there should be a place to load a picture and get help to id them. i didnt find one. just dna and i dont need to know THAT bad.

MISSING- REWARD OFFERED-YANKEE DIME

I am missing my favorite chickens, and no, they didnt become my favorites after i noticed them gone.

I lost a slew of chickens about a month ago. But, I know what got mine. Most of them were pullets that I was counting on for breeding next year. So now I have the incubator running again. I usually sell the chicks I hatch during the summer and fall months. I use that money to buy hay for my horses for the winter. All those plans went right down the drain because of some stupid neighbor......

the so called neighbor killed them? i dont know what is wrong with people. i dont know what got mine because it was in the day time. no signs at all. just gone. i think there is about 10-15 missing. i only had 3 laying hens i use and one of them is gone. down to 3 guineas and then the ones from the other coop. needless to say, they didnt get to range today but i did let the guineas and layer out. they are very upset. yelling all day. what am i missing? they see or know something.

2 guineas now. what do i do? leave them locked up in a shed with no run or let them go? totally disgusted. they are both hens, all the males are gone.

Sorry to hear about your chickens. Any idea what is getting them? More than likely, if you let them go, whatever got the others will probably get them.

i have no idea what it may be. no signs at all. i have been trying to keep an eye. all i have is daytime and no signs.

I bet it is a fox. I had that problem last summer. The chickens disappeared one at a time. I am the only person in the neighborhood with chickens anymore. By summer's end the nothing boy had shot 7 foxes of all different sizes.

No signs of struggle, no feathers, no signs of struggle, no body parts or blood. The chickens just disappeared......

ha! i was just reading predator id and i think i will agree. daytime hunter, no signs, but, there must be a few because i am missing (this is a guess) 5 a day. the 2 guineas that are left just stand in the yard calling for thier mates. it is very sad watching them look for the others. i had hoped they were sitting somewhere until the males started disappearing too. other thing is hawk and i believe they would only take one.
