Granny- so sorry you're in pain. But sounds like you got a little good news in the tendon!

Please talk to your doctor about taking ibuprofen- it interferes with bone healing.

I hope something gives you relief- it's hard to rest and heal when you're hurting so.

Granny! Good to hear that the surgery went better than expected. Sorry to hear that the pain is as bad as expected. Sounds like everyone is trying to take good care of you, even though you outwitted them with your secret stash! Hope you are getting some rest and good food.

Last summer we took the boys on a tour of the old prison on Alcatraz island in San Francisco Bay.

Did not look like a comfy place at all, but the view is pretty on the rare occasion that you get a view!
No chickens there either, but one convict did keep pigeons.

Don't know if I'm weird or what but the ibuprofen helped the pain better then the pain pills the Doc gave me they just made me funny in the head did nothing for the pain. Well I have to go take care of the chickens their hollering at me.

Nope, not weird. It's the only thing I take because it works for me. It's also sold as Advil.

Katbriar is right to check with the doctor first. You never know what they gave you already, and it might interfere.

Thanks Wishing4wings Yes also Advil, I think Motrin is made more for cramps. And yes please do ask the Doc first. That White Roo is Charley, I just love him not a mean bone in his body, he's always chatting away to me. He does look like the abominable snowman! Lol

the silkies are beautiful. really like the mottled and the babies of course. lol Alcatraz, what a neat vaca. !!! scary i bet. haha thanks everyone . the pain is way worse. dr. said take tramadol in between the percoset. still hurting bad. something has to give soon or i will take myself back yo hospital. I had a cute phone call today from friends husband. kept asking me if i still wanted him to hook me up. apparently i asked for him to get me weed. hahaaaa no, i dont do that. i remember nothing. said i gave him a few choice words too. was telling my husband what he said and he says , i know, i was there and so was my son. want to talk more but i am moving in slow mo.

Ibuprofen upsets my stomach and they always tell me to take Tylenol. That stuff works on me no better than straight water. Give me Aleve! Not supposed to take Aleve, I'm diabetic so I don't take it more than I need to and I don't know why I shouldn't have it but it works and I am going to use it when I need it.

After the birth of one of my kids they gave me morphine. OOOOO!!! Love that stuff! I still remember how dizzy/loopy it made me feel but boyohboy did I feel good! 27 years ago and I haven't forgotten that. LOL
