How do they act when they have it?Chronic Respiratory Disease one of the mg, corza after they get sick, or are exposed to it they remain carries for life and if put under stress can get sick all over again
Ok, I have a Red Cochin 17 1/2 weeks old. He makes this sound, I went to get him and of course he wouldn't make it now. Anyways, I have been wondering what it was but he has no bubbles in the eyes or stuck shut or runny nose. It isn't the phlegmy, rattily sound that humans make when they have congestion so I'm not sure what it is. No one else has it and I bought 7 birds when I bought him, they were day olds, or thereabouts.bubbles in the eyes, or eyes stuck shut, rattles in the breath, runny nose. ect.. chickens dont get colds.
It's sad but fairs, poultry shows, and swap meets are places to pick up disease to bring back home, unfortunately.Pullet #2 (Evangeline) made it through the night! She's one of my original SS and the one we put in the fair. I don't know how long she hasn't been eating, but I hope I caught it early enough.
