Granny, that just isn't right about what's going on at the cemetery. It's hard enough dealing with the death of family, no one needs to deal with a shady cemetery owner. Hope you get some satisfaction from that schmuck.

ya, i remember the last thing i said to my husband when i got out of the van, "Bail moneys in my wallet" . it truly would of made my day. He knows me well enough I can hold my own pretty good . he stayed in the van and when i was done i started to go back and i turned around , he had drove the van to where i was . he said, well, you didnt think i was gonna let you walk all the way back did you?

my eggs have me worried. someone has told me you DONT count the day they were put in and that would drop my day back to 18 today. still no wiggles but i couldnt stand it no more so i put the flash light to one egg last night and it sure is kicking but dont look neer ready. since i took the metal turner out it has been 2 degree colder in there . 97.5 . maybe lower. if this is right it means i stopped turning on day 16 and upped the humidity on day 17 . the one i looked at didnt look ready to me. like still a few days out. does the temp being low cause spraddle too or just from high? I wanted to try and up it a little but am afraid to. I still see big veins .

. not sure how this will effect them but i will go looking. think i might try to up it just a hair

The incubator needs to be at the proper temperature for proper development of the chicks. If the temperature is to high the chicks reveled faster which is not always a good thing. If the temperature is to low they develop slower. Be careful with your humidity they can drown before they hatch if it is too high.

I upped it to 70 yesterday. my temp is too low. I "touched " the temp. til it came on. i will wait a hr. or so and see

yes, i have been reading. I love her stuff. I have read them a couple times. It is hard for me to remember it. LOL I have the temp. up by .5 hoping to double that and i will/may have a delayed hatch. I still dont know how that will effect the baby though. thank you both.
