Hi Granny, how are you today? Things are pretty slow around here, or should I say "I'm a little slow around here today" Lol. I'm glad to hear that your Seramas eggs are still alive . Hope you get some this time. How tall is a adult Seramas. I have never seen one in person. Saturday night is lockdown on my first batch in the bator. Having a really hard time being patient this time.

I slept most the day away. i have never measured the seramas and i was supposed to weigh her today and i didnt . just a guess but from floor to where the middle of the back is about 4in. to the head maybe 6-7in.? There is either a buck coon or a pole cat in my barn. it is still in my nose. happened while i was out there too. I heard something but never did see. needless to say i was kinda in a hurry to get out of there. Babys in house are doing very well. trying to fly, wing feathers, didnt have to show them the food or water. they were born hungry. escape artist too . they are acting like a 2 yr. old on day one. today was not much better except they couldnt squeeze out of the bars any more. and they dont like packing tape. they have long legs and that chipmunk stripe which means my bantam phoenix is good with heights. and my swedish rooster is shooting blanks.

Hey all just a quick stop in. Hope all goes well with the lock downs and eggs in various stages of development. Lu is still preggers any day or time now I think.
I had a dream of a tiny mostly white female with a couple of liver spots on her. wavy ears. LOL her name was snowball and we were walking in the woods and she was bringing me those tiny birds (partridge i think?) they stay on the ground. any way, as she brought them i was putting them in a cage to take home for pets. ! hahaaaa Stay out of my dreams LU ! look for them Christmas eve. when the animals talk to each other.

big male coons smell just as bad. been through that too. I trapped one and then had to put up with the smell in my van. pretty gross. had to throw my gloves away. I dont have a gun here so i tak them to an amish friend and he disposes of them for me. made a lot of trips that yr. til i changed all the wire on my coops so i dont have to trap them anymore.
