big male coons smell just as bad. been through that too. I trapped one and then had to put up with the smell in my van. pretty gross. had to throw my gloves away. I dont have a gun here so i tak them to an amish friend and he disposes of them for me.  made a lot of trips that yr. til i changed all the wire on my coops so i dont have to trap them anymore.

Oh that's not good either, dont you have someone close to you the would dispose of them for you. Family, close friend or even a nice neighbor that doesn't want stinky, big, desease carrying coon either?

I have those half grown bantams in there . that would be what they are after. they are getting moved hopefully this weekend. first time i had that smell in there.

shoot Alisan, I want em all ! LOL I am guessing you dont live close, nobody does. it is too cold for them to be shipped now. they would die. thank you for the offer. dont know how bad i would love to take you up on it. tell me though, did you do anything different then you would for the other eggs as far as incubation? did you hand turn or ?

Watch out for that pole cat. It's in the weasel family and they are hard to keep out of the chicken pen.
I am moving them tomorrow to a secure location . there will be no possible chance of access and they will be so hid i will probably forget where they are. Unfortunately they wont have access to the great outdoors either. windows but thats it. better then what they have now. tons of room to get lost in. it is a 12x16 barn from Lowes with a loft and built in nesting areas, ladder shelves by the windows. there are a lot of roos in that bunch and i cant bring myself to cull babies for no reason. gotta wait til they are grown and do something bad first. like fight all the time , ect.... Most the time growing up together they get along as adults . Roos get a bad rap.

No granny they were in turner and I did a dry incubation temp at 99.5 and humidity at 41% till lockdown. Then upped humidity to 75% or better. I got a4 out of 6 on my first serama hatch...the other 2 were not fertile. And I live in Oklahoma. Where are u?

Indiana Alisan. well i got a little work done out there but not enough. I made a big L to keep shavings in 3x8 on the floor, moved some stuff around and out. extension cord in place. my waterer is leaking at the plug on the bottom. its heated. so I dont have a large water container except for the one gallon pans and i am afraid they may drown in it. so i need a plug, 2 bags of shavings get the water and food out there then the chicks. I seen one that had tap dance shoes on . I hope it is the only one. I will check them as i move them, tomorrow i hope . hurting too bad today.
