Oh, pictures! They are beautiful! The cockerel is going to be very flashy, with reddish brown sickle feathers when they come in. I have a similar brownish female and a black. Both of them have laced looking feathers, especially on the breast. You got some very nice birds! Mine loooove greens. A kale leaf or some broccoli will go a long way to making them love you.

Thank you for the avatar compliment. That's Poppy, a wheaten X buff Ameraucana that I got from a BYCer. She looks mostly buff and that pic was taken at the height of her fluffy facial growth. I couldn't figure out how to put my old avatar back up. The pic is in my BYC files, but changing the avatar would only allow me to import a new picture, and my old avatar is not on this computer. It's on the laptop that died last year.

aint he pretty ? the hens look better then the pictures. they dont know me and wasnt thrilled to be in my hand. she was streching as far as she could to get back in the cage. well, I just wimped out and brought a big divided cage in the house (my bedroom) and brought all the seramas in till this cold snap passes. -25 wind chills. .Hurt my arm dragging it of course and they stink. one left a big runny poop right on my kitchen floor . then as i got them in the room the roo crowed and i ****** my pants

Interesting size differences in your chicks there granny. LOVE the bedroom cage. LOL so how many ( insert name for male chicken) do you now have trapped/caged in you bedroom.

looked again at you pen if I am not being to forward would suggest maybe stapling some cardboard around the bottom so they don't scratch/kick the bedding all over you floors. Might also help with drafts.
