long , long day and I took what money i had left in the bank and put it in my dd bank so they wouldnt close her account. her tax is due to go there in a couple days and they would of sent it back to the IRS. she was overdrawn. something i have never done in my life. short story long the account stayed open and she will be able to pay me back in a couple days. tomorrow is pay day anyhow. Kids were so very loud and rowdy today. my frosty is hanging close to me and star is snapping at baby. he wont leave her alone .

You never get to stop being a mom ever. Hope you get a break soon. I think I remember reading somewhere about old hens as well, just needed a brain jogger too remember. I think part of it is this darn new incubator. Struggled with keeping minimal humid during the first 18 days then switched them to my hatcher incubator & struggled keeping humidity up with that as well grr..

You never get to stop being a mom ever. Hope you get a break soon. I think I remember reading somewhere about old hens as well, just needed a brain jogger too remember. I think part of it is this darn new incubator. Struggled with keeping minimal humid during the first 18 days then switched them to my hatcher incubator & struggled keeping humidity up with that as well grr..

There are so many reason an egg doesn't hatch, I can't mention them all. And that's just the REAL reasons. The opinions are even more. Of course you get those folks who boast, "I always have great hatches" " I get 100%" Gag me with a spoon!

We all know "Liar, liar pants on fire" isn't true. Otherwise some folks would need to carry pocket sized fire extinguishers.

I beg to differ rancher , I have had tons of 100%. fails that is, but it was 100%. we got a dusting of snow. I have gravel drive so no sweeping or anything here. couple winters ago we got stuck in the house literally for 10 days. finally busted out the back door. but still couldnt get in the van or out anywhere. neighbors finally noticed and came got us out.
