Nice pics, rancher! I remember snow from when I was a child living in New Jersey. It meant sledding and icicles and snow forts. As an adult, I think it would mean a whole lot of work.

Well good garden o' peas! You need to get a snow blower. Part of my drive is gravel too. I just jacked up the front "skies" so it goes just above the gravel. I do my lawn too. Otherwise I'd never get the chickens. I got the biggest could afford (charge  ) and an electric start. A snow blower is a necessity not a luxury. At least for me. Now in your case you might want to hit up a neighbor to come over and do the basics so you can get out at least.
Makes me want to build a snowman :D we got nothing here. Not even at Diamond Lake another year of no snow.

just reread my post. tons must be the word of the day. LOL
Lol granny, that's good that you have tons of good stuff going on, you deserve it. My DD volunteered to shut the coops down for me last night since I fell and got hurt. Slept horrible last night, woke up to oldest DD calling a little after nine to see how I was feeling today. Walked to the kitchen to take my morning meds and low and behold what do I see out the window? My darn coop door is standing wide open. I head out to close it and to let them in the run where they can get water and she never even latched the pop door. This is A.D.D at its finest arg... Should of had hubby do it. That girl couldn't completely close anything if her life depended on it, lol.

Do you know why it takes longer to build a blonde snowman than a regular one? Because you have to hollow out the head.

Do you know what you get if you sit to long in the snow? Polaroids.

I remember growing up that my dad lived for snow days - spent the whole day on his tractor going from neighbor to neighbor, plowing their driveways - happy as a clam

dementia will prevent me from responding to everyone but i will do my best. No carbon it is all electric. no money for a snow blower and wouldnt be able to handle one if i had it. ol mare, GREAT memory of yr dad. rancher hicks, Love your place, never heard of snow blowing the yard but looks like drunk driver there. hehee didnt think about glasses, could be i need some. Enola, how is Mike ? are you still making plans ? went to junk store and found baby a small wooden rocking horse. needs some screws tightened but worth the 3 bucks. If they cant take it i will use it for yard deco. set a pot of flowers or something on it. Thought i would be nice and treat everyone for dinner since dd has been cooking every day. KFC=56 dollars.

Mike is fine. Finally got him out of the hospital Saturday. He is doing good following his Drs orders. Today we are contending with no electricity. 900 county residents without electricity. Supposed to be turned back on by 4pm. Going to work in a few minutes with no shower. Just fresh deodorant over old deodorant and wipe my face with some Wet Ones! I guess I better comb my hair, don't want to scare too many customers!
