Starting at 3 weeks, we 'may' be able to help you find out how many roosters you will be stuck with..... I knew by 3 weeks that the 2 'pullets' we bought last year were NOT pullets.

The one that Mike says is his, turned out to be a little 'strange'. Due to the dog problems that we have, he is kept just outside the living room window, in the garden, in a cage, by himself. When he was young, I kept several other young roosters with him, but as they started crowing, they went into the soup pot. Now, when I attempt to put a hen in the cage, he will attack them like he thinks she is a rooster!

why are you being mean to me this morning Enola ? I havent done anything that deserves me being put in the torture chamber.
