No flavor hu? My hands are so weak now i wondered if it is easier to skin then pluck ? That would probably only work for the meat birds. I remember having fried chicken at my grandmas a lot of times and they werent store bought. they were the roosters and old hens. It was always tender and very good. What happened? STORY TIME !!! I was at my great aunts house when we lived in Ky. and she had a little picket fence around her garden. the adults were sitting in the kitchen when my aunt hollers ,MY best laying hen is stuck in the fence, shes gonna hang herself ! she tells her boy to go get it down he goes out there, lifts it off the fence and says, aw ma, this aint your best one . and then he put it back . I didnt understand this so later i did ask, why did he put it back ? I was told, He wanted some fried chicken child.Granny we only did 8 skinned, never again. From now on scald & pluck only!!!!!!!! aaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh Byc strikes again
