I forgot what a punishment that would be for you - was just so sad thinking of you not being able to enjoy the wonders of a nice, juicy steak.

I wonder if you can learn to like cooking ? It would take something miraculous . I had a woman coming in to teach me an easier way to make dinners the whole family would enjoy. she started with one dish meals and ended up at mcdonalds. she is coming wednesday just to go out with her for a little while. No food involved. I sometimes wonder if i am a bad influence on others.

I have a question please, Someone is supposed to come over and buy those cochins i bought at the swap last week. my coop reeks from all the rain we have had. He is kinda a big deal in the chickens around here and i dont want to leave a smelly impression on him. I just put 5 bags of shavings down about a week ago and not really in the position to get more right now. they are in cages in the coop. should i pull them out somewhere else or ?? You can probably smell it no matter.

I totally understand being a bit nervous about that, granny - saw his post to you on FB this morning btw, congrats on getting them sold - *I* would probably move their cages to the best location I could (maybe a garage or other area that would be safe, dry, etc for them) a little before he's set to arrive. By not actually going out to the other area you lessen the exposure to the full-force of the smell - even if he gets wafts of it it won't be in his face. That being said, he's a chicken person and he lives here too - he knows what this weather has been like lately and I don't expect he'll even give it a second thought or notice anything "off" about the conditions at the moment.

ohh, thank you ! I will take them out then. be my luck he will want to see them all ! LOL My seramas are in the barn but they dont smell. cages are a bit easier to clean. I keep thinking if the coop and run is big enough the smell will leave but I may be barking up the wrong tree. the rain just dont care. and most of it is roofed too.
