busyteach i live in eastern ky...I have 8 baby chicks they are ees,cochin,barred rock and buff braham . I have 6 older hens they are mixed..my favorites are a pair of silver pheonix..they are all bantam except the easter eggers..What kind do you have?

Hey granny how you doing..did the headache go away? I'm having problems with alot of chipmonks..will they eat my chickens or the eggs..My yorkie mix chases them but they are too fast for him...

morning, chipmunks are more then likely after the feed . headache still here but not as bad. dr. couldnt put me on antibiotics so he is starting crohns meds. temp. to see if it helps .

Dannachic, we live in central KY. We have family in Clay Co. I am new to the chicken world, have 6 RSS (now I know) I bought as babies at TSC in late March. I got them for fresh eggs. Maybe sometime I will do some meat chickens but would have to have help processing. I remember my grandmother doing it when I was little but no chickens around in the interim...which was a long time ago just learning and finding it is a fun hobby.

This is my little stud dog, Swagger. He isn't the sire of my upcoming litter because I want a keeper female to breed back to him.
