star, what is your age ? I was 17 for my first and 30?-31 for the last. my mind isnt doing math right now. In a ton of pain . took a pill . Newfie !!! Twins ? awesome. are they identical?

My son spends most of his day in his room. He comes out and stands where ever we may be for a while then goes back. I try to engage him in convo but for the most part I just get shoulder shrugs. I remembered from a long time ago telling him I love you and he would say ok. I explained to him you are supposed to say i love you back. he said why? The best i could come up with on short notice ."Because I need to know if you love me." But you know i do . "but sometimes you need to say the words because it makes me feel good inside when you say that". oh, ok. LOL so now once in a while he will tell me he loves me. Any way getting back , I told him we have nothing in common and i want to spend time with him. That we need to find something we both enjoy doing. Every night since then (about a week) he has been out here after Tom goes to bed and takes the remote and finds comedy on tv and we both watch this together. How can I apply this new found information ?

Granny I'm 31. (I know I know I don't act it lol)

That's cute though that you guys get some tv time of chuckles! How old is he granny?

star, I would of guessed you to be older. hahaa no offense If you are going to have children you need to get busy. My so is 21. he will be 22 come sept. I dont know if you read it or not but he is autistic. high functioning.

Carbonara effect. had to wait for commercial. I am a horrible speller. I also type my letters back words when i am in a hurry. never been diagnosed with dyslexia but ? my ach tendon has been hurting all the way up the back of my leg almost to the knee today. That scares me.

Yup. I agree with granny. I was 34 when #1 was born. There are benefits to waiting, but unfortunately you will be too tired to appreciate them.

37 for #2. I was a zombie for the first year with 2. Can't imagine how much work it would be to care for twins. Well, actually I can. Neighbor had twin boys (those real active dare devil type boys, emphasis on devil) and she was 40 something. She was barely functional. Try talking to her and she would trail off, not complete her sentences. Meanwhile the toddler boys were over trying to hit Belle with a stick! She just sat there. I took the stick away and told the boys NO. Think it was the first time they'd ever heard that word.

No no. Mine are 3 yrs apart. It was the very tired neighbor lady had the twins.
When I was pregnant with the first one, my hubs said, wouldn't it be great if we had twins?!!! I knew immediately that he had no idea what it was like to care for a baby!
