Speaking of not sleeping, I better at least give it a try, or tomorrow will be another wasted day. It's been hot here, so I keep the house opened up all night and I don't sleep much. Last night something digging in the leaves under the big oak out back woke me up. It was a skunk! Thankfully the dogs were in. Shower time for me, so good night to those of us on the dark side of the earth and good morning to you all on the other side!

Normally, I wouldn't mind the foxes since they are excellent at rodent control. Just don't want them eating my pets.

Neighborhood full of outdoor cats is more of a challenge for the wild bird population here. Hubs is gearing up to try to trap the foxes, but then what? This is California. Don't know if you can kill them without risking fines or jail. We'll see.

Nice to know I'm not the only one who can't sleep. Now I can quit talking to myself (like that'll ever happen).

I started that crap at 14 and was finished with it by my 47th birthday. Still have flashes but I rain. Lost my first at 21 & had my girl at 22, boy/girl twins at 30 & my 10 lb boy at 33. Nursed em all & had lots of energy. Met my guy when I was 37 & then there were 8 kids against 2 of us. We bought a lot of big cans. Some days I felt like a live in maid with no days off but I wouldn't trade most of it for anything. Notice I said most.

Does your son like popcorn? You could make it together. My DHs client is making a recipe book. You could make a snack before TV time & maybe connect a little more.

I started at 9. lol My son also has crones. no popcorn. IBS for me. I like the snack idea though. It would help him become more self-sufficient . I was 11lbs 8 1/2 ozs. big baby too and dr. told mom she would have diabetes . having big babies is a sigh of it. they still havent found anyone to replace his worker and i think its called dsi.

I thought long and hard on my yard. little over 2 1/2 acres. the path would of been made of yellow bricks. the cabin have witches feet sticking out. a lion statue i already have. nothing to a scarecrow. I already planted the apple trees. I lacked the poppy field but thats easy. I have toto. Been checking the junk stores for a few yrs. for my ruby slippers.

Takes forever to type on this teeny little cell phone keyboard. Computer died & haven't got the new one set up. Maybe in a few more months since DH doesn't like to rush things. I love the man to death but I could clobber him sometimes. I'm not perfect either so I guess we deserve each other. Lol

I bake bread, garden, can a bunch of stuff & live a lunatic life. Finally an empty nester ... ah the quiet.
