These look like pullets, right? 10-12 weeks old. I'm trying to sell them as pullets but I get nervous when I don't have any roos to compare them to.

These were the roosters from the same hatch, back in mid-July at about 6 weeks old.

Mum, The sun does help my pain. some of it anyway. The cat , his name is Binks and he is a Norwegian forest cat. He is an awesome survivor. Few years back he was attacked by a coyote and half his side was gone right down to scratches in the bone. Between the vet and myself he made it and now sleeps on my roof. He has brought me all kinds of "goodys" sine I have had him. about 6 yrs. i think. That is a full sized rabbit and a black bird for dessert. He once brought me a racoon as well. He carried it over the 4 ft. fence to the back porch.

That's ok! It's still too hot here. We can wait another month or so. :)

I'm 90% sure they're pullets, but that's a 10% chance I'm selling roos. They still have smaller combs/wattles than the roos did a month ago. There are several good looking pullets in that tractor, but I'm only selling the sussex.

Yikes, coyote, not something that goes on round here, I'd brick it if there was. Awesome that you saved Binks, he clearly has loyalty towards you, animals know aye? The closest we get to our two cats bringing stuff home is worms, mice and check this out balls, all sorts of balls generally pinched from the neighbours children, but the best of all is golf balls. We live two doors down from the local golf club, when balls stray off the course they are fair game to residence, (we sell the ones' we find then donate to charity), only now the cats bring them home, I hope they are not nicking them straight off the fairway I could have some very irritated golfers knocking at my door.

Glad the sunshine is good to you, love the sun but never been a sunbather, I keep covered up with long sleeve like tops to avoid the sunburn.

I can picture in my mind some dandy with checked shorts and the funny white cap running down the road chasing your poor kitty with the ball in its mouth. hahaa I am very dark from the sun. I rarely burn after spending all day in the sun. I am tan only on my arms and face though my chest area . every thing else is covered. It takes me 6 hours on the riding mower to cut my yard so I spend a lot of time out there. It hasnt been weed whipped all year because I had surgery on my foot and cant do it. Its pretty messy now. I really dont know how many chickens i have. close to 75 I am thinking.

Lol Twist, no wonder your so likeable, you have my kind of values. Marriage isn't for everyone, its right for me. I've been married for 31 years, we've had our ups and downs, but we have always weathered thru. My family & my faith are very important to me. I have 2 grown daughters & 3 beautiful grandchildren. I Really love all the stories & experiences that are shared on this site. Wishing you better luck with your neighbor.
