Sorry Star those are miserable, I have lots of bladder issues so I can relate. Feel better soon!

you are more then welcome.

I have a super easy recipe (grandmother's) for sweet pickles,  honestly the best sweet pickles I have ever had. Hate the store bought type.    NO cooking no canning but not real cheap.   I also make what we call wedding ring pickles.  those take about 7 days.
Would love the recipes Twist, when you have some spare time. Even if its this fall. Thank you

I am surely going to hell

The "store my DD took me to today was a church. And, 3 strikes im out. they were closed as well. seems as if there is 5 satudays this month. Some man shows up and DD talks to him . he calls the pastor, Pastor says sure, he calls his wife with the key to come help us out. . DD says ,can my mom come ? sure ! , so go in with her and she is handing DD diapers , tp, laundry soap,ect... she says , Oh I cant give you anything, your not registered. But, I will give you a bottle of shampoo so you dont walk around with greasy hair. I turned to my DD and said, Im out. see ya. DD says, mom dont go without something. The woman picks up a roll of tp and THROWS it and says ya, dont go without something. This brings me to the reason I say I am going to hell. I very calmly turned to her and said" Mam, I would rather wipe my @ss on poison ivy ". I cried all the way home. DD called and said lady felt bad and gave her some stuff to give to me. I told DD take it right back over there . I dont want anything they have. No one should have to live like this. Told you guys I will be eating that $50. deer statue I bought before the month was over.

Oh Granny, apologies for ASSumming you were older, I'm older than you at 54 but outside of my non function thyroid and my life threatening allergies to all the new air fresheners and perfumes (anaphylactic shock) I am fully able bodied.  Never had that allergy problem pre menopause but boy did my life change four years ago when it kicked in. When the other half is away on the rigs I have back up young-uns available to help me out if needed, and they always come through even though sometimes I have put them under orders to 'get here now please'.  When hubby is away I get daily telephone calls to check on me, so I know they do care, I am disappointed for you that your family members can't or won't see what needs doing to help you.

Blimey, 3pm here, hubby is off too a company function tonight, I can't go too much perfume dangers will be around, he is going to buy me a fish and chip supper though, yum.

Sweet Dreams Granny, enjoy your day tomorrow.
:hugs

Hi Mum, welcome to the coop lol. If you don't mind me prying, did you have anything traumatic, super stressful or a major surgery four years ago happen to you? The reason I ask is because 9 years ago I had a major surgery on my brain stem that kicked off severe allergies. For the first year I couldn't go anywhere, be outside or do anything in my house that desturbed the dust without wearing a mask. Or I would have severe asthma attacks. I couldn't stand to be around people because my sense of smell was heightened by like X20. Every smell assaulted me & caused asthma attacks. I was referred to a allergy specialist for testing & asthma treatment. Before surgery I had seasonal allergy stuff (not bad though) & didn't have asthma. Upon allergy testing I found out that of the 58 items tested I was allergic to 57 of them. That didn't include all the reactions that I had to scented products, perfumes and most anything with a scent. Or food allergies. After lots of reading I found out that due to the trauma of the surgery, my body had become very sensitive to everything. I started allergy shots right away & have been getting them for 9 years now. I am still very sensitive to chemicals, but I don't have to walk around wearing a mask like before. Most smells don't cause a asthma attack anymore. I can be outside, mow grass, cut flowers, be around weeds with only a mild reaction. I will always have to take allergy medication & continue with the allergy shots. Thankfully after 8 1/2 years I am down to allergy shots only once a month. My thoughts & prayers are with you and your health struggles. May your allergic reactions to chemicals get better to where you are able to be in the general public without going into anaphylactic shock. That you may share activities with your hubby. :hugs

Oh granny girl, so sorry. A person in need should never be treated like that. Shame on the pastors wife

Sure wished you lived closer so I could share my garden goodies with you. Chin up and remember there is no shame in needing some assistance. You have a very unique situation with the 3 of you being disabled and times are super tough. The cost of living is more expensive than what money comes in. Sending prayers your way & :hugs.
