I've got a young roo who has twisted/bent beak. He's getting the chop though so he can't pass it on. It's ashame too as he's gold lace frizzle. Don't know how he got it, he hatched fine and it just developed. None of my breeder birds have it.

just chalk it up to IFM (its flipping magic) isn't it always the really pretty ones that turn out not quite right.

did you have the cans buried ??   IT needs to be very low to the earth so the little buggers and get to the goodies.  Maybe even you polich would like beer soaked treats.   Not sure if they could get drunk or not.  

Cans half emptied and then laid on there sides so the slugs could get in and get drunk. I can't bury as they are coming out into paving and concrete around my runs. Also coming in under the front gate and down the side of the house on the path.

I am as tender as a hookers heart.    ( no idea where I heard that expression and not intended to offend)   As long as no one attempts  caponize me we are fine.

It is always the case your right. He's a lovely deep red gold lace too. This is him a few weeks ago before his colour developed more.

ARGH more fence drama. Now the county road commissioner got involved who accord to him "he word is law" Have to redo a bunch of the fence even though we followed the existing line. Their/his major issue is with the wooden posts. Not sure what would happen if I just told them to "piss off" but do know they have more money and better lawyers' then I do.
