Last week when Mike got his blood checked, it was so thin, the nurse told him not to even shave before he came back to have his blood checked again. When it is like that, I make him stay out of the kitchen. No knives, no drinking out of real glasses. Just plastic glasses and paper plates orTV dinners.

People that are healthy really should take their health seriously.....

When I am at work my heart falls to the floor if I get a telephone call paiged over the intercom. For the rest of the day all my coworkers will ask if "everything is OK at home?" It really is a nightmare.

Mike had a friend from his younger days come visit him. I almost called Jeff to warn him how sick Mike actually is. Jeff texted me after he got home to tell me he was shocked at Mike's health.........

Next time I will follow my gut feelings.......

Found a home for another rooster today. I am down to 6 that I know for sure are roos. In the next couple of weeks I will be downsizing some of my older hens. They are still laying, but some of them just don't fit well in my flock. Way too much drama going on and with them not being able to free range its constant squabbles. On another note, my little Silkie that is sitting on day 16 got back on the wrong nest this afternoon. Luckily I went out to check on her when I saw her out in the run. She stayed out longer yesterday as well, had to sorta chase her back to the coop. This is her first brood, but she has done great up until yesterday. It has been hot here so I don't think her being off the eggs for a while will hurt anything. I did go get a board and blocked of the other nest boxes though. No chance of confusion then.

thats good Lisa, Its so hard to find homes for them I seen a post where someone was trying to charge $10. for a mix and I couldnt give one away if i wanted to. 3 in the freezer and 2 more to go.
