Thinking about trying this for the oats as the chickens seem to like to scratch/kick the oats out and all over the coop.

enola, your grandkids are such cuties! Are they near? Do you see them often. I have such good memories of my grandparents.
DH is doing the dishes. He is just overwhelmed with the house. Lol One thing at a time. His favorite saying is first thing in the morning.
He can't quite grasp the concept of multitasking. Chickens and ducks are fed and wateted and let out first. Then start soaking the dishes, down to the basement to put in a
load of laundry. Back up to do dishes. Clean cat litter pan on any bathroom breaks and wipe down sink and tub. Fill cat food and water. Do doggy pee pads and water dog. DH feeds her and she won't let him forget. Lol
Back down to throw laundry in dryer and start another one. Up to sweep and or vacuum and mop kitchen, bath, hall, livingroom and steps.
Duck bath time. Stop and watch and give treats of frozen peas or scratch. They all run for the goodies. I usually have something to pick in the garden, pull a few weeds and get eggs on the way back in.
I would probably be cooking or canning something after that and then mop the dining room and upstairs hall and 3 bedrooms. Usually have bread raising. Back down to switch laundry and bring up to sort. Shape bread and pick up junk laying around. More laundry and bread in oven.
Dinner to get ready. Duck bath break again. I love watching them. I also fool around in the garden and I take many poultry and cat and dog petting time breaks. I check in here in between and usually listen to Christian radio. No TV. I can watch a dvd in the livingroom or bedroom. I usually read or surf the net.
Now picture the house with nobody doing this stuff. No wonder I am ready to run away from home and change my identity. You can't tell what I do but you can certainly tell when I don't. Lol
