Got so excited i bumped myself off BYC hahaa

Grannys gone and done it !!!!

I picked the lakenvelder rooster. very pretty . and a speckled sussex pol, and a Iowa blue hen pol , and a so called red sussex hen. I did not take the matching rooster. grand total $12.00 for all. I also got an offer of an appellation (spell) horse . a phone # and a friend request . all very politely turned down.

I do have the red sussex. ever hear of them ? her feathers are molting but from what i can tell looks like a darker rir with maybe black speckles ?

is there a red sussex or are they referring to speckled ? think i see white spots and what is better, that or lakenvelder ?

Red is a recognized color of Sussex, yes - though if you post a photo of the bird we could help you determine whether your bird is red, speckled or even sussex

getting anyone to do pictures for me is as bad as getting money out of toms wallet.

lisa, i got the lakenvelder roo, a silver laced wyanndotte, iowa blue and so called red sussex. the red is older maybe a year and she tore me up ! bleeding in 3 spots on my arm. from my breast. the others are this spring. not laying yet.
