Thats why I had thought I would add 3 hours after fark each day. Will that work as well?

It is less stressful to the chickens if the light is turned on early in the morning. If the light goes off after it is dark, the chickens are left trying out how to roost with no light....

How do you breed a bird to only end up with a 1/4 of one breed & 3/4 of another. Wouldn't it be 50/50. Sorry if this is a dumb question, I know nothing of breeding & genetics.

When you cross two breeds you get 50/50. Then if you cross the 50/50 chick with a parent breed you will get 75/25.

When you are talking about Swedish flower chickens, the breed is Swedish Flower Hen, so if you are talking about roosters, it is Swedish Flower Hen rooster. Or Swedish Flower Hen hen.......
