News says 9 died in SC flooding. Saw the sun peeping through the blinds. Gd and I went out to collect eggs. The sun was gone and it was drizzling rain. 8 days straight.

It is less stressful to the chickens if the light is turned on early in the morning. If the light goes off after it is dark, the chickens are left trying out how to roost with no light....

3) I have to run my lighting past dark because it gets FARKING dark by 4 pm in Dec and Jan

that was a long trip just for chicken food. its in the van but i did it. + 2 bags of shavings. my 10% off coupon expired yesterday . I asked if they would still honor it and they did. so all together i saved a whopping $5. We went to KFC to celebrate. cost me $20.

very big headache now . might just nap.
