What did you breed to get BSL eggs.

You hittng the Salem swap today, granny? So far not looking too promising, very few people set up (organizer said a lot of folks planned to get here later...runs to 4). There's a whole mess of different polish, so i thought of you, BUT there is a pen of white Wyandottes on the same trailer that are obviously sick. ......think it's time for me too turn tail and decontaminate lest I carry anything home to my flock disease wise. Didn't see a single thing I was looking for, LOTS of roosters but not a single one in the bed I'm actually looking for a roo in, go figure. Oh well, just means I save my money for birds in Lebanon next weekend, right?
Time to head to Booneville so I can make it there and back in time to clean house and make dinner - DD is coming home for the weekend and has a new boyfriend coming for dinner tonight.

@granny hatchet- speaking of polish, pbirdhaven (think that's her name) is from north vernon and has polish she raises, might be somebody for you to hook up with for some birds.

Where is everyone today? Finally get a few pictures to upload & no one is around to see them :lau
Lol, what wonderful pictures....glad you finally got it to work
Its a temperamental thing. Sometimes it will upload other times it can be a week or two before it works again. It has an aversion to snow though. I have tried to get a winter pic of mine uploaded for roost to see, says he wants winter. Was going to send him some, but no matter how many times I try to upload it, it won't go thru :gig

Say prostar did you only post once tonight or did I miss some of your posts or Byc hide them on me??

Only posted once. Was kind of a busy night. Posted while I was bbq-ing dinner then was busy feeding and then I just kind of passed out early.

And now once I get caught up I'll have to go outside and release the krakens....I mean....chickens....and do a poopy scoop joy oh bliss.

Quote: X2 It is easy to throw them a couple of flakes of Alfalfa hay. It is really good food and contains lots of protein, B vitamins and even calcium. A good maintenance food. Just make sure they have access to grit to grind up all the stiff vegetation so they don't get impacted gizzards.
