My blue eggs are REALLY ugly and taste awful! (not) When Pops gets back from Fla, I'll have him chech the feed store where he bought my EE's for the supplier. 3/3 bluegreen eggs. Maybe I can send ya some.so everyone gets colored eggs but me.

I just got rid of a brown laying EE Sunday, have had a pink laying EE & currently have 2 green layers & 1 blue EE layer. The blue layer is getting to the end of her cycle. She's needing to reboot, hers eggs are almost white right now. My experience with EE's is that they take lots of breaks laying. Especially during the winter, but when they start back up in the spring their colors are vivid. Love my EE's
as far as i know its the luck of the draw. some ees can even lay brown. unless you get one already laying like mine was .
Give her time granny, my one EE mix that I got in a trade last summer never layed her first egg until this spring. She was an adult bird when I got her too.
