Not sure what DD did to DS while she had him up North, but I came home tonight to find that he had CLEANED THE KITCHEN -- all on his own, no prompting from anyone! Granted, since he has never actually cleaned the whole kitchen (unloading the dishwasher is one of his regular chores and he puts his dishes in after meals, but he's never done the rest of it), it's done the way a 14 year old boy would clean a kitchen, but I am NOT complaining!
The funniest part was just now he came out to get a drink and I hear this exasperated sigh followed by, "I *just* cleaned this kitchen" as he looked at the mess from dinner since I hadn't gotten it cleaned up again. Welcome to my world, son...........

Isn't it amazing how fast the kids get perturbed over something when they have actually helped with something lol. We mothers can put up with it daily, but they have a cow the second we've made a slight mess

Your just pickled is all. I'm needing to get mine cut. It is a little past my shoulders, but I'm losing so much hair. I'm the type of person that hates having my hair down & in my face. So I pull it back in a bun all the time. With the thinning going on its real noticeable with it pull back. I love having short hair, but hate having to get it cut all the time. My budget doesn't stretch that far a lot of times.

ditto that. Hate my hair in my face. Pony tail for me. I have too many things to do in a day to fuss with my hair. i'd like short hair, but twice a year is about all I'm going to spend at a beauty shop and I'd look like miss piggy's mother with short hair.

If I pull my ponytail really tight, it's an instant facelift!

See? I'm cracking up again! I was putting one set of dogs back up in their areas and letting another set out to exercise. I have 5 boarding dogs (last one just dropped off) 2 training dogs, and 7 personal dogs. That's why I usually disappear after 8 my time. DH helps me feed, but I'm still "changing" (pottying and exercising) doggies till about 10pm.

Actually my favorite way I like my hair is clippered half way up the back

No not quite that short, but still short. Just have to blow dry it a couple seconds upside down then spike or tease it with some gel. Done in five minutes.

I am actually quite envious of you - I have often thought I would love to have hair that short (for the ease/convenience factor), but have never had the courage to go through with it -- I admire that you have!

umm, you have to blow dry it upside down ?? how does that wrk because the picture in my head is not pretty. LOL You need to remember i have never done girly things. make up hair styles, ect.... blow dryer. my toiletrys consist of soap and shampoo. oh, and tooth paste.

I could be wrong but I think that the ff would slow down the laying would it? My hens are still going strong. You do have colder weather and mine hens are still young so they're not molting yet. I think I was reading somewhere that greens had a lot to do with yolk color but my crs is kicking in too so I don't remember lol.
