all this different feed is confusing to me. guess thats why i stick with flock raiser . my chickens are liking the alfalfa cubes .

What is the difference in flock raiser, grower and layer? I'm feeding grower, rolled oats ($5. per bag cheaper than grower) and alfalfa for protein and greens. I got 10 eggs today for the first time...

not sure always have oyster shell out for them. Why shouldn't roo's have calcium??
