got the beets pulled and topped with do them Tuesday. Kokorabi pulled well some some I had to take a shovel to as the stalks were so tich I couldn't pull or cut them with a knife. 6 plants and over a1/3 of my pickup box is FULL. treats for the yaks. Still have end of the month books to do and leaves to suck up in parking lot. Off to do that now if I can get it started. TTFN

Well ! I like beets in a greek salad I have no Idea what the other one is. LOL they sound humongous though .

Gosh I love chocolate. Butterfingers, Reeses, Milky way, 3 musketeers...cannot eat more than 1 piece anymore. Makes me so ill.

Well I though that Brahma was Brody awhile back but wasn't. One my leg horn is sitting. She got on the eggs last night. Went to check this evening and she's still sittin on 17 eggs. She's so small I don't know how she's covering them but she is. I made her get up . She ate fast and got a little water and went right back to sitting. But since the other one got off of hers after a day, I'm not counting on her staying with it. Who knows. Is it odd for leghorns to go brody? Do a lot of hens these days start sitting and then give up.

first time mamas give up sometimes. not weird at all. if the other hisses at you when you put your hand close to her she maybe broody. if she yells and jumps down she is up there for a different reason. being picked on, dont feel well , ect... If she is broody I would take a few eggs away from her. if there is too many the hatch rate will suffer.
