I have a small old roo that trips over his. free ranging is good . some never range . some are mean those need to be trimmed .
Thanks both of y'all. I'm not against it. I was just wondering. Gonna have to keep an eye on my roo. He's friendly but I don't want him to hurt the hens or trip over emThey can get too long and injure the hens or make the roo walk funny.
was this a first molt ? possible just hatchery Q or dare I say mix ?
If its first molt I wouldnt look for them to come back . doenst mean the gene is not there for some pretty babies though. Let us know what they say ??
