I will . I was thinking about bringing them all in here a couple day after they hatch. And when I know she's good and dry take them all back outside. Is this ok or not. She looks terrible.

no thats not ok. she would more then likely forget them and peck the after a couple days. If you take them (I do) you will keep them.

First time sitting down for the day. You guys are too funny!!!! Twist congrats on all your busy work getting done.
Granny, your jokes make me laugh and boy, I need it. Set 13 eggs today... Not expecting a huge hatch but hopefully at least two!!! Having a hell of a time regulating temp vs humidity. Got done with my extensive todo list early so I get to sit and watch football, yell at my tv, read your thread... While hubby makes yummy casserole for dinner. Yay!!!! Me!!!!!

Now thats how it should be !!!

Hi everyone, spent the morning helping my dd track a deer she shot in the shoulder. Of course where she is hunting is straight up the 2nd highest hill in the county, the first one is a ski hill. We zigged, we zagged up & down the hill numerous times following a blood trail that just up & stopped on the edge of the property line. Spent 3 1/2 hours combing the woods, fields by the ponds. You name it we looked. She is so disappointed, nobody wants to injure an animal & not find it. Nature will use it, but we could have really used the meat.

Her dad missed one down at deer camp this morning, so we're not doing so good on the deer front.

It's very tough when you lose one. I've only lost one. I've been lucky. It was three years ago. The stuff he run in was super thick. Come to the end of the blood trail. We actually had to crawl on our bellies it was so think.it got dark and I was all most to the point of just sleeping in the brush. My brother finally come to the land and blew the horn so we could find our way out. I usually mark the way going in but I made a good shot on the deer and thought he'd be on the edge of the thick stuff. Woods looks totally different in pitch dark.

does the caption contest end tonight ?
wishing still up by two?
Thank Red, it was really thick in places here too. Just frustrated for her. Then she heads out for this evenings hunt & after just sitting for an hour her boyfriend calls, he has blown a tire on his way here from work. She decides that he should just meet her in town at the place that's going to put my older set of tires on his car for the winter. Instead of having to deal with it tomorrow. Well before he made it to the shop, he blew another tire. This poor guy reminds me of granny's life. If there is anything that could go wrong, it would & does. He's a hard worker, but never has enough money for the basics because of outstanding medical debt. He just got moved out here 2 weeks ago and on the 2 day his beater vehicle blew up. He found this different car, but the tires were garbage. His car was scheduled to go in on Tues for a tire change out & alignment as an early Christmas gift from my daughter. Dd will borrow my car & he will borrow hers. Life is never simple lol.

I'm also happy to say that what I thought could be bumble foot was nothing. I got everything ready put his feet e salt, raised his foot to look at it and it was perfect. I guess it was just the way he holds it that makes it look swollen on the pad of his feet. I do worry a lot about them .

Honestly I have given up on hiring people to wash my windows. I always have to go back and get rid of the smears/spots and we almost always have a driving rain and then blowing dust right after so I get to start all over again.
