yes they do peck at them to help them out at times, not sure without pictures, we are pretty useless to be honest

He was pretty nervous. its his first time. first egg blood and mama picking it . not sure of life . 2nd egg mama picked beak out chirping . he took those 2 and put them under a light w/socks . someone said it was malpositioned ? no pictures.
