Yes. Long story though. I will be cooking something for myself. I'm thinking about doing a traditional turkey though!

That's what imprinting is. The chicks brains are wired to copy what they see. The broodies make a special "this is good food!" noise that the little ones respond to also. I've taught chicks what is good to eat by making that noise and tapping my finger like a beak! I taught these guys to eat aphids off some kale. Yummy!!!!

I pecked the food and water to get the buddy to eat and drink, but she seems to be doing better and so happy with the silkie there. Cutest thing I've ever seen.
