Sorry for the troubles Star, maybe after Thanksgiving & Christmas you can find a better job. But whatever you do I hope you have a happy ThanksgivingAll the hugs to granny.
Mil tried again to invite us for turkey at her place. For how many years her son hasn't done turkey with the family but now that I'm around its all about the family...
Honestly I kind of miss doing my own thing...make what I want to make (usually I'd just do a tiny Tim chicken aka broiling chicken lol) and make my own mashed potatoes and gravy and whatever else I felt like....especially since we're not going out to the desert for the thanksgiving feast this year like we normally do. (Yep. Quit my job for nothing. Thanks for that....)

I can't remember who said it this morning, but I agree that your mom is probably jealous of you & your life. Still doesn't make it hurt any less, but the favoritism with grandkids is just so unfair. I do have personal experience with this having had it happen to my daughters when they were young. Children can see that & it hurts them. Hubby wouldn't back me, so it never got discussed with the people involved. Sure hope something changes for you. Hoping regardless of the mother situation that you will have a happy Thanksgiving
