As I started backing up trying to find the last page I had posted on. I realized I'm exhausted

Mine was nice and boring! How was yours?

Mine was crazy, way to much food & people for one house. I don't have a whole lot in common with Hubby's side of the family. They are football & euchre. I don't like either, so I spend the lion share of the day moving from room to room pretending I feel a part of the group. This year I got to leave earlier though because I had the grandkids to pickup. Wish hubby would have come too because it was raining really heavy & it was one of those nights when it was blacker than the inside of a cow. I don't see well at night for driving. I just had to take it slow, we got home safely.

Did you ever find your deer?

The hen and broody is doing great. I looked about all day for that buck and never found him. If I can move tomorrow I'm going back to see if I see birds circling. I hope I don't. Maybe I missed hopefully. Futherest I've ever had a deer run was eight yards before today it will take awhile to get over this.

Sorry to hear that you lost a deer today Red. That's hard, here's to hoping you missed it. Glad to hear that momma & chick are doing great. Just realized tonight that my little white Silkie went broody over the holiday. What is she thinking? Its cold now, I'm not even providing a heat source for the adult Silkies & I hope not too.

Just really hard to see, our roads are not maintained great, they pool a lot of water & there aren't many that have the stripes painted. Makes it really hard for seeing where your at on the road with oncoming traffic.
