Okie Dokie! So I'd be fine in my bed- roll. Story: I don't do it any more, but used to ride horses across Death Valley 1st week of every November. 150 miles. 8 day ride, no electric. Tent camping. Colder than heck at night, not your temps, but low 30's sleeping in a tent. Best sleep ever. A gazillion stars. Only noise was the horses on the picket line. Better times. If you get bored, look up the mule train from the borax mines. That was our route.Ridgecrest, Trona, the Pinnacles. Talc mines Furnace Creek. Good times. Remember Charles Manson? We rode through his hideout.
Still catching up but dang that would be such an awesome ride!!
Wonder if I could "borrow" sil's horse...lol
