I know i come in on the backside of enola's move but shes moving to PA from NC,bag and baggage along with Mike, he has serious health problems, and Megan has moved ahead to aquire rental property for all of them. And they have animals that they obviously can't leave behind unless they have someplace to board them . Am I in the ball park ? I dont know i can help but I believe in prayer . Is that ok ? Reason I asked is some folks dont believe and have asked me not to pray ...

Hey folks. I am finally home. My mom shopped my butt off literally... pretty sure I am down a size.. I am pooped and now my kids are acting up cause they have been away from me all day. No rest for the wicked... ughhhhh

I LOVED your story! It reminded me of Pops when he was a kid.

Been scratching the same dog for 23 years now. Sad for your GS! It bothers me that you always get roped in as the "fixer". i know it's what you do, but it still makes me sad that others don't cherish you and do nice things for you or take a load off.Buy em bicycles!

Hmmm, while the bicycle suggestion may have been partially in jest, @granny hatchet , if you think they would appreciate/use one I think I have an extra bike (adult size) around here.

camping , was I the only one that liked the bottom set of chickens ?   Its supposed to be a full moon on christmas, how odd.

The top set was cream/sugar, and bottom was salt/pepper. Bothered me that the bottom set was two roosters. I liked the cream/sugar set, but they were $3.99 each. Too much. The bottom set was $3.99, much better. But I got the cute art board instead, plus this:

400

Plus a big insulated sweater that rang up $7. So now I'll be warm!

And you know he is a Casanova because he has 2 bathrobes!

Who has 2 bathrobes? 4 people in this house and we don't even have one.

Maybe we're the weird ones.

DH has like three - he all but lives in his bathrobe, over clothes, when he's at home. His dad is the same way, so I guess that's what he grew up with as the norm.....we get him a new one ever couple of years for Christmas. In fact, the first Christmas after we had started dating DD was like 3 and he had gone to FL to visit friends right before the holiday, DD and I picked him up at the airport to give him a ride to his place and the first thing out of DD's mouth was, "We went shopping while you were gone - we bought you a Christmas present" -- and DH says, "What did you get me?" --- well, DD was 3 and didn't know any better so she out and told him without a second thought..that was his first lesson in thinking before you speak when dealing with small children.

Right? We're pretty modest 'round here, don't run around in our skivvies. My mom lived here for 10 years and Pops lives in an RV out back, liable to pop in anytime.
Yeah - the backyards of our property and the most immediate neighbors to the left and right tend to be the route of choice for getting to/from one house our garage to another, so it's not really 'safe' to wander around here unclothed in the house.
