I dont think I will have a choice in the matter. You guys are not the only ones upset. Tom found out it was left up to me to unload the grocerys to pay for them and walk the whole parking lot to get to the van he was understandably upset.

Granny, you probably don't want to hear this....... But, if you want eggs, you need to change breeds. I don't remember exactly what breeds of chickens you keep, but I do remember reading the list and thinking all you had was eye candy chickens.

Breed your Minorca rooster to the leghorn hen, you will get plenty of eggs from that cross.

Breed your Tolbunt and Swedish Flower Hen rooster to your other hens for eye candy. Just remember, feed is expensive and eye candy eats a lot of food.

I demand at least 50% production year round. When I go extended periods of time below 50% daily, Mike and I start eating old hens.

Granny you need to learn how to ask for help. Grocery stores will find someone to help you to your vehicle AND load your groceries for you!

I am feeding eggs to the crows. 18 yesterday. I get tons of eggs but I want to breed them polish. 1 egg every other day isnt enough to save for the bator. I want some blue egg laying polish. LOL

No I dont ! that would be a good one to go with the polish. The one I had kept raping my other rooster. He went to the garbage pile.
