oh and the micorna rooster is breeding the black alstrops. will they be considered alstrop ? ( FULL )

No they would not be considered Minorcas OR Austrolorps, they would be a hybrid. Or a mutt, hybrid sounds better

. They should be good layers.

he is back in the sling now so he cant go anywhere. Poor guy.

Can you put his food and water in front of him? He could peck and drink as he pleases then. I've got all sorts of weird visions of him in a hammock for some reason!!
If you could sling him in the cage then fasten food and water on the side of the cage where he can reach.

I'm not doing a very good job of explaining what I'm thinking in my mind here :barnie

I went to the free store and got a small childs sleevless cotton shirt. the head is where his butt is, legs through the sleeves and a hole cut for the neck. LOL tied together at the bottom of the shirt which would be top for him and hung from the to of the cage.

really ? I thought I would keep all polish hens then throw him in the mix later on when they are ready to breed. Please explain ?

Because not ALL Cream Legbars lay blue eggs. Some strains lay green eggs. So if you get a rooster that comes from a green egg line, you are going to fark up your project. By using a hen or two that you KNOW lays a blue egg you will save your self years of project work.

I dont know . Is that something I should look for I guess ? He seems healthy to me.

H
Your rooster is not healthy. If he was healthy, he would be under weight, hanging in a sling unable to use his legs. If he doesn't have Mareks, there is the possibility that he can be nursed back to health. But, if one leg hurts him and the other one "is stuck out in front of him" and not usable, this does not sound good.
