Morning all! What a glorious start to a brand new year! Sun is shining, crispy 60 deg. Watched the Rose Parade this am.

Boy do I have resolutions! Last year was a year plum full of disappointments, health problems, depression and hopelessness. NO MORE! I'm not going to wallow in that anymore! I miss having fun. I miss going places. Miss not feeling good about myself. Pity party is over! We can't be what we used to be but can be the very best we can right? If I gotta live, I might as well try my darndest to have fun doin it.
Look out...Mutts makin a comeback! Gonna loose 40 lbs and take better care of myself. Gonna clean 20 years of clutter outta dis house and work hard at remodeling to sell it and move. Gonna re-connect with my friends that I've put on hold, I've been a terrible friend. Gonna take more time enjoying my own wonderful doggies. Gonna ride my ponies! I used to go for a new years day horseback ride every year but my horsey friends have all moved away.

That's ok, I have a trailer. Can't ride today, Leo horse would bounce me in 8 seconds! Haven't been on him in 3 years. I am gonna saddle him and start working him TODAY!

I'm sure I'll have bad days, but I refuse to let them run together. Every day will be a fresh start this year.
I hope the same for all of you!

That is great information Sally. But the bone I pick about Legbars is ...... Some of them lay GREEN eggs and the breeders insist blue is in the eye of the beholder. Bull!! When an egg is green it is NOT blue. Even my 3 year old GS can tell the difference!!

I even had a breeder tell me I must have bought cross bred CL. Yea, right, tell THAT to the lady that GAVE them to me. She is one of the breeders trying to get the breed recognized by APA!! Guess where her breeding stock came from?? Greenfire!!

Legbars are bred to lay "Blues" egg, yes but in many shades and depending on overcoat on the egg for finally coloring, let me try this again to see if I can explain better.

Remember what I just typed... Blue pigment is in a league of its own, NOT LIKE A WHITE SHELL with colored pigments on top to give its color, a Blue egg is colored throughout and its called biliverdin/oocyanin (Bile pigment byproduct responsible for a greenish color yea us too, sometimes seen in our own bruises) Blue pigment is not just a coating it mixes with the calcium carbonate early in the process, so its that color all the way through and thats why we all cant see them when we candle unless we have a good bright light. HOWEVER, When a brown coating overlays a blue egg shell, the egg appears greenish. If the brown coating is very dark, the egg appears olive. Blue egg shells are dominant by the way, and supposedly the way to get the best color is from the roo. But after she gets that blue into her babies and breeds back to the polish she will need to do so for the next several generations.

I just put all these together so granny can see how assinine it is to not seek medical help shes almost sure she had heart attack number six. your heart produces enzymes when you have a heart attack that dissapate over time. they may not be able to tell on monday if she did or not, waiting they might miss a warning sign that might just might mind you that could be the big ones coming ,and i call my dr on monday .famous last words of how many people. She yelled at me over taking a bandage off my toe , but shes gonna make light of a heart episode,because SHES PURTY SURE IT WAS !!!!SHEESH
