Good morning all!  Just enjoying a peaceful morning before the rest of the house starts to stir - DD left before dawn to try to beat some weather that is headed into where she lives, which is why it's so peaceful, lol.  Love the kid, but her dog and cat bring a whole new level of chaos to the house when she is here so can't say I was entirely sad to see them go........
Hope this Saturday finds everyone hale and hearty.

I have meant to say this before - but it is so neat to me to see another "oldie" mention playing xbox, I often feel like a bit of a schmuck for my Xbox habit as so many see it as something odd for a "grown up" to do.

Absolutely!  Supportive care (hydration and nutrition being key in that) is invaluable in addressing any issue and often more important than the "treatment" itself.  A bird can overcome a lot as long as their bodies have the proper support to do it.

I used to play on Charlie's Xbox a while back, the old retro games though from my child hood! That's all I could manage all these new ones I just can't manage!
Now with the PlayStation I would not know where to turn it on! :/

I go to bed between 9 and 9.30 can't manage anything past that

It sure is more important that treatment, you can't start if the bird is already weak from lack of food and water.

I forgot to say yesterday that DH got a deer on his last trip, and dropped it off Thursday for processing. He picked it up yesterday and it was packaged like this:

So we spent the evening repackaging everything.

That's shoddy packaging from them isn't it, no wonder you re packed it all.

He has polyvisol but did not see selenium on the label.

I KNOW. But they're working on the roof today, and then we can work on the siding without them. This is the view from my bathroom window this morning:

So out of politeness I closed the curtains.

Ok polyvisol don't have the selenium but I would still recomend he use this. And if he gets the chance to get the selenium and E capsules all the better. This may not be a quick fix for him there is no telling wth it.
