so you kept them inside ? LOL what are you going to do, keep them in til the coop is built ? will you make a run for them ? A dog kennel comes in handy for that and you can add to that when ever you find more panels.

They're inside for now. I'm going to put them in the tractor, but the RIRs have been living in it. So when it warms up a little I'm going to clean out the tractor and scrub it out with soap and bleach. I'll try to keep them in a week or less. I'm worried out them catching something from my birds, moreso than the other way around. I'd love to keep them in until the coop is finished, but that could be a month! DH won't go for that.

Morning York,, He normally dont forget. He dont like me when I dont have coffee. LOL

I bet!! I'm no good without coffee first thing. A bear with sore head!!

They're inside, right by my bedroom door. Easy to peek in as a go by. ;) Ragnar is eating, but Lagertha this isn't interested. :(

I'm sure they will settle, handing place for spying on them ;)

I have a snowy suspicion I wont be getting my van today. I have heard plow trucks come by twice already.  I hope he finds a used tire. I am supposed to take Lily for her spay on the 18th .

Is your weather going to last that long? Now it's cold and snowy will that be it for the rest of winter?

I hope she gives you tons of fertile eggs. Question, Was the other roo in the same pen as she was ? If so the first eggs she lays may not be his and that would give you new blood.

There was no roo in their pen yesterday. There were four young roos that were pretty brutal to the pullets, so they took all the roos to a bachelos pen. The man said the pullets wouldn't come down from the roosts, that if they jumped down that the roos would get them. This pullet was on the roost, but I didn't connect those dots til later. I think she's timid.
